Pete Smith was born in 1937, and studied Trombone and Piano at the Royal College of Music. He was a professional Trombone player for 39 years and was also busy arranging, composing, and conducting. In 1997 he had a change of career and began teaching in preparatory schools. He now enjoys playing keyboards and plays the Trombone purely for pleasure.
